Prima Marketing

I'm very excited to be getting Prima Marketing Inc. supplies at BBG. My order has been placed and will hopefully ship soon. I actually just can't wait to start using them! They will be listed for sale as soon as they arrive. The first shipment will include many flowers and I just had to get the WHOLE umbrella line. Until then, I can brainstorm... Heather

Metamorphoisis

With the new year, I wanted to take BippityBoppityGlue to a new level and introduce new services. My first acquisition was http://www.bippityboppityglue.com/. My new shop will offer all of the supplies I use in my creations for sale from companies such as Prima Marketing Inc., Lily Bee Design, Jenni Bowlin, Cosmo Cricket, Crate Paper....and the list keeps growing. Items are being added daily.
I will also be offering BBG Friday Night Picks. Every Friday night, themed scrapbook kits will be listed for sale. The kits will include high quality papers, florals, fibers and embellishments--all within the same theme at an affordable price. The first kits will be listed the first Friday in March.
One of BBG's biggest changes so far this year is thanks to graphic designer Jennifer Stuart of studio71design on Etsy http://www.studio71design.etsy.com/. This blog and my Etsy shop have received a makeover and Jennifer gave my shop the exact look I was going for. I have gone to Jen for a few jobs now and she continues to wow me! She is also responsible for the design of my other shop, http://www.monstrocity.etsy.com/. Thanks so much, Jen!

PBAs--Great Gift Idea

For the past few years, I've been on a kick to introduce new types of paper crafts to the community--whether it be at craft fairs or given as gifts. I've received very positive feedback on my paper bag albums (pbas). Yes--Paper Bag Albums--constructed from brown paper bags!

Easy directions:



1. Start off with 3 paper bags. There are generally two sizes but I prefer the largers ones. Folded they will be approximately 6" x 6". Alternate the bags and fold in half. I use a 3-ring punch to punch the holes about 1/4" from the fold.


2. Theme: I've made bags celebrating Mom, Halloween, Birthdays, Weddings, Baby, Recipes--just about anything! They are also a great personalized album to give to a child to keep their own photos.


3. I adhere all of my background cardstock/paper first. I measure the size of the folded paper bags and crop my paper to those specifications and adhere. I then go through the "inside" pages and add embellishments, ribbon, quotes and photo mats. The front of the album I save for last and the back I only use cardstock.


4. Make use of the openings of the paper bags! I use them to tuck journaling tags, extra photo mats and recipe cards.


It makes for a great craft activity to do with children, especially on those rainy, summer days!
